The Rise Sports & Fitness NPC
(Trading as The Rise)

By registering for, purchasing, or participating in any program, session, or service offered by The Rise Sports & Fitness, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
(Yearly Registration fee ONLY FOR SERVICES)
Yearly Registration fee of R100 is due with the first payment.
This includes a Rugby Rise / Fit Rise String bag.

Your account will be invoiced in advanced with all necessary due dates listed on your invoice.

All payments are due in advanced, minimum of 50% deposit to be made before sessions starts for booking deposit (only Monthly & Quarterly), unless communicated otherwise. The rest needs to be paid before the end of two weeks period unless communicated otherwise.

Quarterly payment is due on or before the 1st of the first month of the quarter.

Annually payments periods are 4 months. After the 1st Term only Monthly and Termly payments are available
Quarterly Payments
1st Term | Payable on or before 1 February
2nd Term | Payable on or before 1 April
3rd Term | Payable on or before 1 July
4th Term | Payable on or before 1 October
- Re-registrations are open from October every year.
- Any new registrations from October onwards will still be valid for the following year.
- Any new registration before October may register in the new year.
1. Services Offered
The Rise Sports & Fitness provides:

Rugby-specific coaching and skills development (Rugby Rise)

Physical conditioning and athletic performance training for rugby and other sports
-
General fitness, weight loss, and conditioning programs (Fit Rise)
Note: For sports other than rugby, services focus on physical conditioning and athletic performance only. Sport-specific skills coaching is not provided unless explicitly stated.
2. Eligibility & Participation

Participants must be medically fit to take part in physical training.

For minors (under 18), a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and provide consent.

The Rise Sports & Fitness reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant’s health or behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
3. Payments & Fees
-
All fees must be paid in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Prices are displayed on the website, booking platform, or invoice and may be updated with valid reasons.

Payment confirms a booking and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
4. Session Attendance & Cancellations
-
All packages are valid for minimum 4 weeks (1 month).

All Group sessions are drop-in sessions. Personal Training sessions will be scheduled and are only valid for 4 weeks, unless communicated otherwise.

Missed sessions due to late arrival, no-show, or personal reasons are not refundable.

If a participant is unable to attend, notice must be given at least [24 hours] in advance to qualify for a reschedule (subject to availability).

The Rise Sports & Fitness may cancel or reschedule sessions due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Refund Policy

Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

No refunds will be issued for:

Missed sessions
-
Partial attendance
-
Change of mind after program commencement
-

In exceptional circumstances (e.g. injury with medical proof), a credit or partial refund may be considered at management’s discretion.
6. Medical & Health Disclosure
-
Participants (or guardians) must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations during registration.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase the risk of injury and releases The Rise Sports & Fitness from liability.

Participants must stop training and inform the coach immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
7. Assumption of Risk

Physical training involves inherent risks, including injury.
-
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks voluntarily.

The Rise Sports & Fitness, its coaches, and staff are not liable for injuries sustained during training, except where required by law.
8. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:

Show respect to coaches, staff, and other participants
-
Follow instructions and safety guidelines
-
Refrain from abusive, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour
Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal without refund.
9. Photography & Media
-
The Rise Sports & Fitness may take photos or videos during sessions for marketing and promotional purposes.
-
By participating, you grant permission for such media to be used unless you opt out in writing.
-
Media will never be used in a harmful or inappropriate manner.
10. Personal Information & Privacy
-
Personal information is collected solely for registration, communication, and program management.
-
Information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required.
-
Data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. Changes to Terms & Services

The Rise Sports & Fitness reserves the right to update programs, pricing, schedules, and these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
